I allow the natural healing spirit of the horse to mold itself into the clay. It's the unity of strength and stability, fire and passion, wisdom and grace.
WHAT IS HORSEHAIR POTTERY?
Horsehair pottery is a traditional art form made famous by the Navajo Indians. This pottery gets its name because the artist applies real horsehair onto red hot pottery to burn bold, unique designs into the clay. I create custom works of art by using the horsehair from your horse, inspired by your story, celebrating the bond between you and your horse.
